ALLYSTAR Received Silver Award (SMEs) at HKMA/HKT Global Innovation Award 2024/25

The 2nd HKMA Global Innovation Day was successfully concluded at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 23 January 2025, attracting more than 1,500 guests of honor from Mainland China, Hong Kong, overseas countries, and regions. During the event, the finalists of the HKMA/HKT GLOBAL INNOVATION AWARD 2024/25 of all three categories, namely the Large Organizations, SMEs, and Rising Stars, were announced to recognize excellence and best practices in innovation from organizations across a range of industries and sectors.

Allystar Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Allystar”) has once again won the Silver Award in the Innovation Organization Award (SMEs) with outstanding performance in BeiDou navigation and positioning chips among the top 10 finalists in the SMEs category. This is the second time Allystar has been awarded after the first HKMA/HKT Global Innovation Awards - Innovation Organizations Award - HKT Innovation Champion of the Year, which further demonstrates that the Hong Kong government and the industry delegates have highly recognized the remarkable performance of Allystar in technological innovation and market practices.

In line with the National 14th Five-Year Plan to develop Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) was proud to announce the launch of the inaugural HKMA Global Innovation Award 2022/23. Innovative initiative(s) of any organization(s) that has created value for its stakeholders (customers, employees, owners, investors, partners, suppliers, community, society) through innovative ideas and/or use of technologies are welcome to participate in this Award. The HKMA/HKT GLOBAL INNOVATION AWARD 2024/25 received more than 270 entries from various regions, including Mainland China, Macau, Taiwan, Pakistan, Singapore, and the U.S.A. With its latest low-power flagship GNSS positioning chip, Allystar, one of the top 30 finalist organizations, presented its innovative products in terms of design, technology, sustainable achievements, effectiveness, outstanding performance, etc. The comprehensive and multi-dimensional presentation showcased the strengths and achievements of the company’s collaborative R&D in Guangdong and Hong Kong, bringing chip-level solutions with lasting impact to the industry.

Allystar has run its R&D center in the Science Park West Avenue, Shatin, N.T., in Hong Kong for several years. During this time, Allystar has conducted extensive research in areas such as BeiDou chips and algorithms with universities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and other countries. The panel’s unanimous approval is a clear sign of the high industrial recognition of Allystar’s innovative achievements in Guangdong and Hong Kong through partnerships. This is fantastic news for Allystar, which is encouraged to promote technological innovation and industrial application of BeiDou navigation chips.

Looking ahead, Allystar will work hard to make technological innovation, deepen the cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong in the research of BeiDou positioning chips, actively promote its application in various fields, drive the deep integration of the BeiDou industry with other industries, and jointly propel Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao region to achieve a higher quality of development.
